Aiming at the weaknesses of current Manufacturing Execution System (MES) such as poor generality, weak reconstruction and difficult performance analysis in automotive manufacturing industry, a functional decomposition diagram was designed based on functional requirements of MES, and a general Petri net model was also established. The complexity and junction features of MES model were analyzed based on Petri nets, and the network core layer and system reliability were obtained after the model was transformed to the undirected network diagram. The compatible system schemes for different selections were given based on reliability analysis. ©, 2015, CIMS. All right reserved.
