摘要
The construction of inclined shaft by shield method in New Street Mine is the first time in China. In order to ensure the stability of the inclined shaft after it put into operation, six sections were selected in different positions along the inclined shaft axis. Analysis of how coal mining affecting the stability of shaft segment under different coal pillar width using displacement angle of strata theory and discrete element simulation is used to determine the width of protection coal pillar. As result, with the height from inclined shaft to the coal seam increasing more, the width of protection coal pillar increase. The results were compared with the actual results, and the laws of the two are in good agreement. These achieved results would provide certain guiding significance for study of similar practical engineering projects. © 2015 ejge.
