Dynamic light scattering in LC-440 nematic liquid crystal

摘要
The research has been performed related to electro-physical and optical properties of nematic liquid crystals LC-440 based on azoksy-compounds under applied direct and alternating electrical fields. It is shown that domain structure of LC-440 under applied alternating voltage sufficiently differs from the structure of turbulent current. In general, light transparency versus voltage of electric field is showing smooth dependence. The results obtained are being interpreted based on molecular models. © 2014 by Begell House, Inc.
