摘要
Flow streams from high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) wells usually contain H2S, CO2, and chlorides. Such wells with temperatures greater than 350°F require corrosion-resistant-alloy (CRA) tubing/casing. Titanium alloys can provide for an alternative. A testing program was developed to qualify Ti-6246 alloy for use in Chevron's sour-gas oil fields.
