Monitor finishing automatic width control system based on active disturbance rejection control

摘要
A new control solution to Monitor Finishing Automatic Width Control (FAWC) for Hot Strip Tandem Rolling using interstand tension was proposed based on Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) because the plant is of large time-delay, uncertainty, many disturbances and the explicit mathematical model of the plant is difficult to get. The proposed ADRC consists of the ESO and NF without TD satisfying rapid requirement. Furthermore, both of them consist of linear function instead of normal non-linear function and the order of ADRC is lower than routine ADRC. Simulations on Simulink show good effectiveness of the control system.
