Since the total temperature rise is low in axial compressor low-speed test, torque efficiency is more accurate than temperature rise efficiency. The measurement parameter in test is motor output torque, part of which is used to overcome rotor transmission structure mechanical loss. It is necessary to amend the zero point of torque efficiency. In this paper, the torque zero point of the compressor with no load is carried out under different rotation speed and the accuracy of torque efficiency is improved. Based on the structure of rotor transmission, an estimated method of rotor mechanical efficiency is presented, which is total rotor mechanical efficiency is equal to the mechanical efficiency product of every component. A revised estimated method is carried out, which remain revised torque constant, instead of rotor mechanical efficiency, and the results of new method is closer to experiment results and more accurate. © 2020, Science Press.
