Analyzing the effects of materials on delayed coking product distribution by structure oriented lumping model

The effects of the mass fractions of saturates, cyclic hydrocarbon aromatics, condensed aromatics, sulfide, nickel and vanadium in raw material, and nH/nC, carbon residue, density and aromatic carbon ratio of the raw material on the product distribution of delayed coking were analyzed by delayed coking structure oriented lumping model. The results showed that there was a good relationship between carbon residue value of raw material and coke content in product of delayed coking. The effects of the amounts of cyclic aromatics and condensed aromatics in raw material on the product distribution of delayed coking were different. There was less effect of sulfur content in raw material on the product distribution, more effect on the properties of the product of delayed coking.
