摘要
Because the resonant converter can achieve soft-switching of the switching device, it is suitable for high-power situations. This paper presents a resonant converter which is suitable for DC system of offshore wind farms. Using LC parallel resonant, the converter can achieve high voltage gain. It is characterized by zero voltage switch turn-on and nearly zero voltage switch turn-off as well as zero current turn-off of rectifier diode. In addition, compared to conventional resonant converters, the switching frequency of this LC parallel resonant converter requires small-scale changes over the entire load range and voltage stress of all switches and LC resonator is not more than half of the output voltage. This paper presents the working principle of the converter and discusses the parameter selection process of the resonant network. Simulation and experimental results verify the working principle of the converter and parameters selection of the resonant network. © 2015 State Grid Electric Power Research Institute Press.
