摘要
In order to analyze the dynamic behavior of a drive axle gear transmission system more accurately and guide vibration and noise reduction design of drive axle products, an efficient strategy based on nonlinear bearing theory, the finite element method and the modal synthesis method were proposed to analyze the drive axle gear transmission dynamic system considering effects of housing. The whole drive axle transmission system's dynamic finite element model including final drive gear transmission assembly, differential gear transmission assembly, hub assembly and housing etc. was built. The modal analysis of the whole system was performed. The response of the system to a unit harmonic gear transmission error under the hypoid gear mesh was calculated. The effects of housing on the gear transmission system's dynamic features were studied. An example for dynamic analysis of a rear drive axle gear transmission system showed that the effects of housing on the dynamic features of the drive axle gear transmission system are significant. ©, 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society.
