摘要
A series of polyurethane prepolymers containing carbon-carbon double bonds were synthesized by using isophorone diisocyanate, polyether glycol, N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N, N-diisopropanolamine, and hydroxyethyl acrylate, etc., and then they were mixed with the thermosensitive monomer 2-(N, N-dimethyl amino) ethyl methacrylate to prepare a series of CO2-triggered waterborne polyurethane-co-poly [2-(N, N-dimethyl amino) ethyl methacrylate] (WPU-co-PDM) via free radical copolymerization. In further, the structure and properties of the WPU-co-PDM emulsions and their films were investigated. The results show that the emulsification and demulsification process of the WPU-co-PDM at room temperature are promoted due to the dual response of poly [2-(N, N-dimethyl amino) ethyl methacrylate] to thermal temperature and pH values. The emulsification and demulsification process of waterborne polyurethane containing thermosensitive units are more efficient under the stimulating of CO2, and their films have the better water and heat resistance. © 2021, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.
