摘要
This thesis deals with the sound radiation properties of inhomogeneously damped plates with complex vibration modes. Complex modes differ from real normal modes by the fact, that the dynamics of the structure is no longer dominated by pure standing waves, but rather by superimposed standing and traveling bending waves. The occurrence of complex modes in inhomogeneously damped plates has not been investigated in the previous studies on sound radiation. Therefore, the present work addresses the characteristics of these mode shapes in terms of sound radiation and has the goal to improve the phenomenological understanding of correlated vibroacoustic phenomena.
