摘要
Synthesis of coumarins via allylic oxidation of 2H-chromenes using the Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) in combination with tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as an oxidant is reported. This strategy is straightforward and performed at mild and economical reaction conditions. The process environmentally benign, versatile, and efficiently converting various chromenes into coumarins, which are compounds of interest in the pharmaceutical industry due to their wide range of biological activities.
