摘要
The application of thermomorphic multicomponent solvent systems in chemical processing is able to significantly increase the effectivity and economy of homogenously catalyzed processes. The utilization of a strongly temperature-dependent miscibility gap of selected solvent combinations allows the performance of the reaction in a single phase and a subsequent catalyst separation through liquid-liquid two-phase technique. This elegant principle for catalysis is investigated using the rhodium catalyzed hydroformylation of 1-dodecene in a continuously driven miniplant. © 2014 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
