Image sharpening is one of the key technologies about image recognition. The purpose of image sharpening technology is to strengthen the image edge and outline of the scenery. There have been many algorithms to be invented, such as gradient reinforcement method, Butterworth high-pass filter method, and image edge detection method based on Prewitt operator, Log operator and Canny operator. In this paper, a right method based on the features of image and the right values for parameters are proposed. Experiment shows that the proposed method has the advantage over other different methods.
