摘要
Nitrogen oxide (NOx) can significantly harm the environment and human body. With the enforcement of more stringent regulations, there is an urgent need to have a cost-effective denitration method. Simulated flue gas containing NOx (NO and air) was pre-oxidized by O3 and absorbed by NaOH or H2O2 solution in a rotating packed bed (RPB) in this study. The effects of different operation conditions and additives on denitration efficiency were investigated. It was found that denitration efficiency increases with increasing O3/NOx molar ratio, absorbent concentration and liquid/gas ratio, and increases at first and then decreases with increasing rotation speed. The optimum operation conditions were determined as O3/NOx molar ratio of 0.6, absorbent concentration of 0.025 mol·L-1, rotation speed of 800 r·min-1, and gas-liquid ratio of 14:1, and under above conditions, the denitration efficiency reaches 80% and 85% with NaOH and H2O2 as absorbents respectively. The addition of KMnO4 or H2O2 in NaOH absorbent has a positive effect on denitration.
