摘要
LixNi1/3Mn2/3O2 (x>2/3) with O3 structure has been synthesized from P2 type Na2/3Ni 1/3Mn2/3O2 via reduction-ion exchange method. Raman scattering and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) results demonstrate that cation environment in the as-prepared LixNi 1/3Mn2/3O2 is similar to that of O3-Li xNi1/3Mn2/3O2 prepared from P3-Na2/3Ni1/3Mn2/3O2. It was found that the galvanostatic charge-discharge and cyclic voltammetry (CV) curves of the LixNi1/3Mn2/3O2 compound are different from that of the Li2/3Ni1/3Mn 2/3O2 compound. The LixNi1/3Mn 2/3O2 cathode exhibits stable cycling performance and delivers a discharge capacity of 230 mAhg-1 at the end of 30th cycle in the voltage window between 2.5 and 4.7 V (50 °C). Furthermore, Li xNi1/3Mn2/3O2 cathode delivers a discharge capacity of 190 mAhg-1 at 500 mAg-1 (∼2.5 C rate). © 2014 Published by Elsevier B.V.
