摘要
The computation of electrically large target's scattering characteristics is always the focus of the research. But many problems, which have more unknowns, can not be solved due to the limit of the computer's physical memory. Based on method of moments(MOM), the calculation method of scattering from target was analyzed. Out-of-core solving method using hard disk instead of memory can effectively solve the above problem. The matrix was decomposed by blocks, so the reading/writing time of the data can be shortened, thus the solving speed was accelerated. The bistatic radar cross section(RCS) of a metal cube and a metal missile were calculated respectively. The results show that the method, which is proposed in this paper, can efficiently solve the problems of scattering form electrically large targets, and the calculation precision is kept.
