摘要
The public engagement is required to demonstrate the profession in information technology that provides rich and challenging opportunities for best of the youth and all of our talents. The public engagement is changing the way the public rewards and engages with the profession and the disciplines of which it is compromised. Current negative perceptions have far-reaching consequences, and affect the young people as they decide whether to study or join the profession. The UK's ability to compete in the global market, provide healthcare, and look after the environment requires a skilled, innovative, and vibrant IT and computing professional. It is required to communicate and identify the achievements and the challenges that are faced. It is also required to involve the public in the debate that arise from the social and ethical issues raised from the work.
