Andy Lambert, after taking over the Fuji Xerox Australia (FXA) becomes a billion dollar man of Australia. FXA's revenue of $630m in the 2005/6 financial year was second only across the group of Fuji Xerox's Japanese operations. Lambert prefers to seek advice when it comes to making money out of printing as he is from finance background. About 6% of digital documents are printed in color and this represents enormous potential for FXA to grow color business without looking at converting offset printed black and white documents to color. Lambert sees potential in other growth areas, such as continuous web printing and hinted at a new Xerox product due for launch in 2006 which will go head to head with Kodak's Versamark industrial printing solutions. Lambert, as deputy CEO of FXA, has helped to change the image of the company from a copier company to an ICT Services company.
