Based on an Intermittent-Sampling Repeater Jamming (ISRJ) system, a novel jamming approach for forming precede false targets is presented for the phase-coded radar system with partial receiving and predictive repeater. After the principle of ISRJ is expounded, the group delay characteristics of phase-coded match filter are analyzed to explain why shift-frequency repeater jamming and ISRJ can't form precede false targets. On this basis, according to the characteristics of M series, a predictive repeater jamming method is proposed. Then the requirement for repeater power is analyzed. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the new jamming method can form precede false targets and does not have rigid requirement for power. It shows the method has potential value in practice.
