Effect of liquid piston mass on performance of thermo acoustic engine with gas-liquid coupled oscillation

摘要
A simulation has been performed on a standing wave thermoacoustic engine with gas-liquid coupled oscillation, by introducing a liquid piston of [EMIM][BF4]. According to the simulation, the operating parameters with and without the liquid piston are compared and analyzed in details. The effects of liquid piston mass on resonant frequency, pressure amplitude, and hot-end temperature of stack are discussed.
