摘要
In this paper, the ultrasound effect on the oscillating heat pipe under different operating temperatures was investigated through experiments. Experimental results show that the heat transfer performance of the oscillating heat pipe can be enhanced by the ultrasound. However, the heat transfer enhancement decreases as the heat load increases. Ultrasound can reduce the thermal resistance of the oscillating heat pipe, and the decrement depends on the operating temperature. The heat transfer enhancement due to the ultrasound will be increased gradually when the operating temperature increases from 20℃ to 40℃, while, it will be decreased gradually when the operating temperature increases from 40℃ to 60℃. © 2015, Science Press.
