摘要
Articular cartilage and cancellous bone in femur of different ages of healthy human and patients with different osteal disease had been measured by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). Area integrations were done on the matrix and mineral's infrared bands processed using OMNIC5.2. Matrix to mineral ratios, calculated from the ratio of integrated areas of the phosphate to the amide I band, as indicated from the results, this ratio was found to vary directly and increased with the age of human, (e.g. the matrix to mineral ratios in youth is 5~7 times larger than that in elder). On the contrary, the lipids content in the bone of elder showed significant higher than that of youth. The lipids content of articular cartilage in the osteoarthritis was higher than that of osteonecrosis patients, the same phenomena can be seen in the cancellous bone, and the lipids content of cartilage in the osteoarthritis and osteonecrosis patients showed significant lower than that of healthy human.
