摘要
This article discusses advances in cybersecurity and resilience structures through the perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It presents a comprehensive literature review which seeks to understand economic models that have been developed to enhance SMEs resilience. To achieve the research question, this article is formulated to present doctrinal and empirical findings of cybersecurity strategic policy and economic incentives for SMEs cybersecurity resilience. The findings suggest that although theoretical and economic models and concepts have been articulated to help frame the argument for SMEs cybersecurity resilience, however, previous studies have struggled to translate concepts into real-world experience for SMEs. It concludes therefore, that a careful analysis of economic and security considerations from the perspective of SMEs is needed for adherence to SMEs cyber resilience. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
