摘要
Swelling soil is one of the thorny issues encountered in the project construction, especially in the rainy season, rainfall increase soil water content, cohesion, internal friction angle and the matrix suction of soil are reduced, result in damage of soil. In this paper, the finite element model of unsaturated swelling soil slope has been established to be used in rainfall infiltration calculation. It analyzed the variation characteristic of saturation and shearing strength of swelling soil with the time of rainfall continuance, and find that moisture absorption area of slope expanded gradually with the time of rainfall continuance, in addition, plastic zone occurs at the base of the slope and tend to expands. We use saturation as the control parameter of soil strength to analyze the stability of slope at the beginning time plastic zone occurs with double strength reduction method finite calculation, achieve the shearing strength when slope collapse, in additional find that instability criterion on the basis of characteristic point displacement and on the basis of plastic zone through the base and top of the slope coincide. © 2014 ejge.
