摘要
<正>Mechanical ventilation is a specialized oxygen therapy and life support technology with significant importance for critically ill patients. In fact, 40%–66% of patients in the intensive care unit(ICU) require mechanical ventilation.[1,2] However, the mechanical ventilation can lead to ventilatorassociated lung injury(VALI),[3] ultimately resulting in difficulties in weaning from mechanical ventilation, prolonged hospital stays, and even increased mortality.
