With the rapid development of science and technology and the popularity of the Internet, digital media technology has become an indispensable part of our life, study and work. However, just like any other technology, digital media technology has its own deficiencies. These deficiencies have the potential to induce vertigo and hinder immersion during the usage process. Therefore, Further advancements are required in digital media image enhancement’s development, including more precise approaches for measuring and evaluating its indicators. Through the research of virtual reality technology and the optimization of the parameters of image enhancement in virtual reality based on the optical performance of digital media, the life cycle of digital media equipment is predicted based on virtual reality technology. The findings of the experiment indicate that the life cycles of digital media and virtual reality are extremely dynamic. Better than traditional media life cycle. © 2024, Cefin Publishing House.
