摘要
The significance of the diffuser in ensuring stable performance of compressors at elevated discharge velocities has grown with the increasing demands of modern engines. This work presents an optimization of a dump diffuser under wide-speed flow conditions. A multi-objective optimization approach is applied, including a single design point and an extensive speed range, resulting in the acquisition of the Pareto front. By conducting a single- factor analysis, the changing rules of the parameters is determined, and the optimized outcomes are thoroughly examined. Following the optimization process, notable improvements of 14.1% and 43.0% are observed in the total pressure loss coefficient and static pressure recovery coefficient of the diffuser, respectively, thereby significantly enhancing its overall performance.
