摘要
BN-ZrO2-SiC composites have excellent comprehensive performance, which can be used in iron and steel metallurgy, such as side dams for thin strip continuous casting. In this paper, the influence of SiC/ZrO2 ratio on the structure and properties for BN-ZrO2-SiC composites was investigated, and the atmosphere used for corrosion tests was more closely to the real usage situation. The results show that with the increase of SiC/ZrO2 ratio, the thermal shock resistance of BN-ZrO2-SiC composites increases, as well as the corrosion resistance by molten steel decrease. When the SiC/ZrO2 ratio is 35:15, the BN-ZrO2-SiC composites present the best comprehensive performance, and its hardness and modulus of elasticity are higher than those of other samples, which are 165.8 MPa and 101.9 GPa, respectively.
