摘要
Tannin-based phenol-amine chelating resin was prepared by cross-linking reaction of polyethylenimine and chlorinated tannin, wherein chlorinated tannin was synthesized from bayberry tannin and thionyl chloride. The tannin-based phenol-amine chelating resin was characterized by FTIR, SEM, EDS and XPS, and its adsorption properties for Cr(Ⅵ) were evaluated. The results showed that the introduce of the amine groups into the side chain of tannin molecular effectively improved the adsorption properties of the tannin-based chelating resin for Cr(Ⅵ). The adsorption of the tannin-based chelating resin for Cr(Ⅵ) was main reduction adsorption, and chromium was absorbed on the resin mainly in the form of Cr(Ⅲ). The maximum adsorption capacity of the resin for Cr(Ⅵ) was 364.46 mg/g under the conditions of temperature of 318 K, pH = 2.0, adsorption time of 420 min and initial mass concentration of Cr(Ⅵ) of 500 mg/L. The adsorption rate of the resin for Cr(Ⅵ) was more than 95% when the initial mass concentration of Cr(Ⅵ) was lower than 20 mg/L. The adsorption process of Cr(Ⅵ) by the resin could be described by the Langmuir isothermal adsorption model and the pseudo second order kinetic equation. The resin has potential application prospects in the treatment of the wastewater containing chromium. © 2021, Editorial Office of FINE CHEMICALS. All right reserved.
