摘要
Due to its geometric possibilities, additive manufacturing (AM) offers advantages in a wide variety of areas. By applying AM, it is possible to produce complex structures which can only be realized with increased effort or not at all with cutting processes. One possible area of application is tool electrode manufacturing for electrical discharge machining, especially with interior flushing channels. This work presents possible advantages of such a process chain. © 2024, VDI Fachmedien GmBH & Co. KG. All rights reserved.
