摘要
The scope of the use of gas turbine units in metallurgy is quite wide: from steel smelting processes to rolling shops. As the analysis shows, most of the operating gas turbine units at metallurgical enterprises do not have the proper level of automation or are not automated at all. Existing automated control systems for gas turbine units have a number of disadvantages, the main one of which is the impossibility of scaling them. In order to optimize the consumption of the gas–air mixture, a new system was developed. The developed functional diagram for automating the operation of a gas turbine unit is presented. The selection of equipment for the effective operation of the automation system has been carried out. The choice was determined by the possibilities of import substitution of products or specific production. In the TIA Portal program, software for the HMI panel to visualize process control has been developed. The developed automation system allows optimizing the consumption of the gas–air mixture. The payback period for an automated gas turbine control system is two years. © Allerton Press, Inc. 2024.
