摘要
Mechanical and plant engineering companies that have been focused primarily on product manufacturing in the past are recognizing the potential of a service-oriented business approach as they transform from technology providers to total solution providers. The increasing demand for holistic solutions is driving the development of product-service systems. This article closes a knowledge gap by developing a process model that enables the standardization and transferability of machine-specific product-service systems to entire machine portfolios. © 2024 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston, Germany.
