摘要
Wearable technology is popular right now. One essential element of wearable technology is wearable antennas. In essence, wearable antennas are composed of fabric and are simple for anyone to put on. A cotton antenna that works at 2.4 GHz and measures temperature variation is constructed in this work. The antenna patch is 35 mm x 18 mm in size. Copper material is used for conducting part. Cotton cloth is used as the substrate for the antenna, which has measurements of 65 mm x 24 mm. The working frequency of this antenna is changed by changes in the fabric's dielectric constant because of temperature variations. A rise in temperature causes a decrease in the resonance frequency of the antenna. The antenna is helpful for wearable applications; hence this study also observes antenna bending circumstances, body-worn conditions and specific absorption rate (SAR) analysis. This cotton antenna is excellent for sensing temperature variation from 20 °C to 70 °C. © 2023 COMADEM International. All rights reserved.
