摘要
Orderly charging will reduce carbon emissions and rational charging station siting will properly guide EVs to charge in an orderly manner. This paper summarizes and analyzes charging station siting methods from the perspective of a charging operator. Starting with the growing demand for charging, four factors affecting the location of charging stations are listed and analyzed. By reviewing the development history of charging station siting, different international schemes for charging station siting in recent years are systematically described. Then the traditional site selection method is compared with the modern site selection method and the shortcomings of the traditional site selection method and the advantages of the modern site selection method are summarized. Be further inspired by examples of practical applications under site optimization schemes in developed countries with electric vehicle industries in Norway and the United States. Finally, a summary of the charging station siting optimization scheme is made and an outlook on the future charging station siting technology route is given. © 2024. Carbon Magics Ltd.
