摘要
In order to evaluate the application potentiality of ammonia aviation power system,the methods of the green synthesis of ammonia,the research of the combustion characteristics of ammonia,the difficulties of designing the ammonia aero-engine and its solutions have been elaborated and summarized in this paper. Accord⁃ ing to the existing research results,the ammonia aero-engine are considered to have even broader prospects and the ammonia/hydrogen mixtures are likely to be adopted as a kind of novel and optimized fuel for the ammonia aero-engine in future. © 2024 Journal of Propulsion Technology.
