摘要
Physical properties of particles such as particle size and particle morphology plays an important role on both particle-particle and particle-bubble interactions which makes them very important on evaluation of flotation processes. In this study, the contribution of roughness of galena particles produced as a function of abrasion time was investigated on their flotation recovery and aggregation characteristics. According to the results of experimental studies, it was found that the flotation and aggregation characteristics increased in proportion to their roughness value. As a result, it was determined that with the preferential production of particles, flotation can be made more efficient by shifting to lower collector concentration. © 2021 Union of Chambers of Engineers and Architects of Turkey.
