摘要
This paper integrates the big data teaching environment, first identifies the teacher competency characteristics, and then employs the questionnaire survey method to analyze and extract these competency characteristics based on the survey results. On this basis, we conducted a statistical and differential analysis of the teacher competency characteristics of the excellent performance group and the ordinary performance group. We derived the weights of the indicators of teacher competency characteristics through the Yaahp software, a commonly used tool in hierarchical analysis, and then explored feasible strategies for promoting teacher development in the context of the big data era. Based on the results of the analysis and statistics, this study screened and retained the characteristics with a frequency of more than 10 as teacher teaching competency characteristics in the big data teaching environment, totaling 32 items. There are significant differences between different performance groups in 13 competency characteristics, such as digital tool application and digital resource production, but no significant differences in the rest of the competencies. The highest weighting values were given to awareness of smart teaching evaluation and lifelong learning competencies. Development strategies such as self-development and training facilitation promote teacher development. © 2024 Yanhua Tang., published by Sciendo.
