摘要
In this study, we investigated the effect of the embedded mode in buckypaper heating sheets and of heating power on the temperature distribution of composites reinforced by buckypaper/polymer composites in the heating process. We used the FLUENT software package to analyze the temperature distribution rule of composites reinforced by pulse-bending and flat buckypaper when reaching a steady state. The simulation results show that in the same heating power conditions, the typical temperature of composites reinforced by line buckypaper/polymer composites is higher, but the temperature distribution is more uneven. The typical temperature of composites reinforced by pulse-bending and flat buckypaper increases linearly when the heating power increases. The heating rate of the composites reinforced by line buckypaper is higher than those reinforced by pulse-bending buckypaper. We conclude that the larger the unit volume heat of buckypaper, the higher is the heating rate, which leads to a higher temperature of the composites reinforced by buckypaper when reaching steady state and a more uneven temperature distribution. © 2016, Editorial Department of Journal of HEU.
