摘要
This paper researches construction scheme on overhead line flexible HVDC grid in aspects such as topology, key devices and control and protection. HVDC grid network is in square configuration and station network is in symmetrical monopole configuration. There are two choices for sub-module, i.e. half bridge topology combining HV heavy current DC breaker and fault self-clearance topology combining fast mechanical DC switch. Half bridge sub-module scheme is simple and mature, but needs super fast protective device. DC breakers may not protect all stations completely during faults and a large number of converter and line current-limiting reactors are needed. Fault self-clearance sub-module scheme don't need super fast protection device, but will cause short period block in all stations after DC line faults. At present, key devices and control and protection are not difficult problems for overhead line flexible HVDC grid. © 2016, Power System Technology Press. All right reserved.
