Tools reliability in cutting the deposited metals with martensitic structure and gasothermal coatings

摘要
The experimental data obtained in cutting materials of raised hardness (hardened steels and gasothermal coating PG-10N-01) are presented. The deposited metal was made from the powder wire PP-Np-30Kh4G2MT. Endurance of the modern tool materials was studied depending on cutting regimes parameters, cutting part geometry and tool hardness. The cutters were fitted with plates from polycrystalline cubic boron nitride. The experimental data are compared with a structural-energetic model of cutter wear.
