Based on the information system of a large-scale papermaking corporation, this paper analyzes the information flow in process industry, which consists of three layers such as Business Plan System (BPS), Manufacturing Executive System (MES) and Process Control System (PCS). Comparing the data characteristics and requirements of three layers in the Computer Integrated Production System (CIPS), we present the structure and its building method of Web-based data warehouse.
