This paper investigates the sports consumption structure of first-tier cities in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen by means of questionnaire, interview, literature and statistics. The results show that the proportion of sports consumption in China's first-tier cities gradually increases and becomes one of the key content of public consumption. Public purchase of their own sporting goods has become the main source of sporting goods consumption, and sporting goods stores and department stores have become the main place to purchase sporting goods. In addition, the results of the study can not only provide a basis for the study of sports consumption of first-tier cities in China, but also contribute to improving the consumption level of resident's sporting goods and guiding the awareness of sports consumption of residents.
