An experimental study on the void fraction in the rectangle narrow chamber is conducted and Freon-113 is used as the working fluid. The variety rule and computation method of void fraction along the height under different pressures and heating powers have been obtained. The results show that when the volume evaporation quantity is constant, the average void fraction increases with the increasing of pressure, and when the heating power is constant, it will decrease with the increasing of pressure. So at the same thermal load, the average void fraction can be reduced by increasing the working pressure properly.
