Multipath delay estimation in frequency domain for aperiodic spreading systems

摘要
Based on the idea of frequency domain subspace, a multipath delay estimating method for aperiodic spreading system is proposed. The statistic properties of the multiple access interference term and the noise term in frequency domain are analyzed. The estimation error from the multiple access interference and the noise are also discussed. The theoretical analysis and computer simulations demonstrate that the method is an unbiased estimator and its estimation precision is superior to the sliding correlator.
