Simple maintenance smoothes paper mill belt and chain conveyors' flow

From wet and dirty conditions to worn out drives and bearings, mill conveyors are often neglected but are many times easy to maintain and repair. Maintenance problems on pulp and paper mill conveyors often can be traced to system problems that are correctable. These problems need not be addressed by repeated repairs of the same symptom, but can be corrected at the source. This paper examine many of the common problems found in conveyors used throughout pulp and paper mills.
