The Vienna transport authorities have more than 500 public busses, manufactured by OAF Graf & Stift, in service. Within the framework of exhaust mass emission determination the exhaust components CO2, CO, HC, NO and particulate of low floor busses with LPG-engine as well with diesel engine were systematically compared. For the real time measurement of the in-use emissions a new developed on-board equipment was used. The results of the research work are emission rates versus the mean driving speed for typical urban bus lines.
