Power producers are incessantly looking for ways to maximize the reliability of their gas turbines while concurrently lowering their operating costs. Consequently, the demand on the air filtration systems used to protect these units has also steadily increased. Taking into account the costs of a standard turnkey combined-cycle or even a simple-cycle plant, and then adding in the operating fuel costs makes it easy to see why effective air filtration protection is so important.
