The largest natural gas pipeline constructed in Scotland in one season (April to October) is discussed. The pipeline will transport North Sea gas from Aberdeen to southern Scotland, England and Wales. The pipeline is a part of National Grid Transco's plan to meet increased demand for gas by both businesses and residences. The $95 million pipeline spans 50 km from Lochside, 10 km north of Montrose, to Aberdeen's gas compressor station at Garlogie.
