Selective lateral re-entry system

Since the mid-1990's, short-radius-horizontal-well technology has been used in mature Middle Eastern fields to maximize oil recovery from existing wells. Although use of this technology has resulted in significant production increases, through-tubing access to the short-radius lateral was not available. This problem has been solved by use of a selective lateral re-entry system (SLRS).
